Water. When does a drop become a flood?

The Water Necklace is a six foot chain of graduated hand made silver links attached to a vitreous enamel medallion. The drop-shaped links form a chain emulating a river. When worn, the links reorient themselves moving from a curve to a point and back again. The design on the surface of the medallion recalls the ripples made when a drop of water hits a surface of water.
